Residents and local leaders want the government to be transparent about the proposed waste-to-energy plant and its Environment Impact Assessment results. Kepong folk especially, were sceptical about the project and urged the Government to reveal details of the plant. Kepong Community Service Centre head Yee Poh Ping, who had been addressing community complaints in the township, said there were several concerns.
