ISWA and the University of Malaya cordially invite you to the 2nd ISWA Summer School on Solid Waste Management. The focus of this Summer School is on Landfill issues in developing economies and will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 12th to 23rd of August 2013.
The Faculty of Science of the University of Malaya will be hosting this two-week course. Experts from Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia will cover hot topics on Solid Waste Management in developing economies such as landfill siting, design and construction, operation, landfill leachate, landfill gas and public health and safety issues. In addition to these topics, the practical impact on global warming through landfill gas, and how to reduce this effect, will be emphasised in the 2nd ISWA Summer School. If you are interested to learn about the latest developments in sustainable landfill solutions and familiarise yourself with state-of-the-art different practices, the ISWA-UM Summer School is the place to be.
