Indonesia Committed to Cutting Plastic Waste in Oceans

TEMPO.CO, Gunung Kidul – Indonesian Government is committed to reduce plastic waste from the ocean to achieve the goal to be the world’s maritime center. “The impact of plastic waste in Indonesian seas is devastating,” Coordinating Ministry of Maritime Affairs deputy assistant of Legal and Agreement Division Budi Purwanto stated while disseminating Presidential Decree No. 16/2017 on Indonesia Maritime Policy in Sewokoprojo Hall, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta on Friday (10/11).
